We would like to announce the launch and beginning of our AAU basketball team “Courtside Manteca Aviators.” Over the past year we have opened and established Courtside Sports Manteca as the premier facility to train for basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer. We have had the opportunity to host numerous tournaments and get to know our friends and neighbors establishing a connection to our community.

 

Now we would like to take it further and invite players and parents to be a part of our family here at Courtside Sports Manteca. This will be like no other AAU team out there as we can offer something unique and different. Our AAU “Aviators” will have a home gym to call their own. Our players will be able to come anytime to their home gym and train, shoot, and play basketball. We know AAU teams, players, and coaches struggle to secure gym time to practice and offer safe clean environments for their kids. At Courtside Sports Manteca, our Aviators have a home to call their own. They will walk into their home gym and see their photo on the wall for all to see and a basketball facility they can be proud of.

 

We have partnered up with a Head Coach who has extensive experience in basketball, working with the community, kids, and values family above all. Our coach has experience in training kids at all levels and coaching basketball at the AAU level as well as National Junior Basketball, Boys and Girls Club basketball, and City of Tracy Warriors basketball. He currently volunteers his time to coach basketball in our local community for boys and girls grade school level basketball. Last year his team won the championship for the local school district and coached his team back to the championship this year as well.

 

We are excited to get “Courtside Manteca Aviators” off the ground and flying to local tournaments to compete and establish themselves as an elite competitive AAU basketball team.

 

Please join us on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 2:00pm for basketball tryouts. Immediately after the tryouts, we will be offering a 2-hour training session for your kids with our head coach. At tryouts, we will be handing out more information regarding fees, frequency of practice, membership, and jersey information.
